Sorry, that wasn't very informative. The problem I am having is that the
format goes fine until the "Writing superblocks and accounting information"
part... it thrashes the disks for a while and then locks solid - can't
even switch Vts... no kernel errors get printed...
The "Writing inode tables" goes very smoothly with these two patches though
- much better than older kernels...
With that, can anybody suggest a place to start looking?
