Praise the Lord! For years I have been waiting for DEC Alpha's to be
affordable. Give me Alpha over intel anyday. The only OS I care to run is
Linux but I imagine the fact the WinNT runs on it would work in Digital's
favor.

I certainly hope so. Let's give Intel a swift kick in the ass and show
them what real CPU's can do. <grin..> Seriously though it is always best
from the point of view of the consumer to have more than one major player
in the market. It's about time someone challenged intel's dominance of
the PC chip market. Their prices are way too high. If Digital could roll
back prices and at the same time maintain top quality they would
eventually come out winning.

Heck yeah! If Digital dropped those prices I would never look at another
Intel PC again.
