Multicast

I'm sorry if this isn't the right Mailing-List for these discussions (and
for my poor English!).
I've a problem with the multicast stuff.
I've made these things:
1. Kernel + Ip Multicast
2. Install+ Lilo
3. Reboot
4. try to see ' cat /proc/net/igmp ' : nothing!!!
5. route add -net 224.0.0.0 netmask 240.0.0.0 eth0
6. sd, vat e company reflect this error :

sd: IP_MULTICAST_LOOP: Protocol not available

Kernel 2.0.30 RH 4.0
