NPrintk : a network console

Hi,

I was thinking for a long time about a network redirector for
kernel messages (especially useful when disk drivers tends to
fail). I finally took some time yesterday to build a first proof
of concept. The package is available at :

ftp://opera.inrialpes.fr/pub/veillard/nprintk-0.01.tar.gz

Basically the idea is to register a module as a console and sending
the messages using the Ethernet driver if one is available.
On a remote site a sniffer dump the messages from the net and display
them.

Any comment is welcome, but please read first the README file
coming along the sources. I also need help on back porting this to
stock 2.0.xx kernels (where console registering stuff is not available)
and would be happy to get some feedback on the fact of registering and
unregistering the console on the fly (when unloading the redirector
module).

Daniel
