If its the timers or PCI bios bugs you can expect trouble with at least
FreeBSD too - SCO I think may be sufficiently stupid that it doesnt trip
into PCI bios problems.

If you've bought something like a Red Hat CD then their support folks will
make you a PCIless boot image if you ask
