Can DOSEMU open/read very big files?

Hello Kernel and DOSEMU Supergurus!

I am trying to use ccmail client for DOS v4.02 in DOSEMU 0.66.5 under Linux
2.0.30 and when I point it to the right postoffice I get error "***Database file
not found***". The file it is looking for is mlandata which is 439M large. Could
it be that under DOSEMU a process cannot successfully open/read such a huge
file, especially if it resides on a Netware server? I definitely have
permissions to read that file because I ncpmounted the Netware volumes with my
own userid (the netware userid).

I use ncpfs 2.0.10 to access Netware server which is running netware 3.12 and I
do not have netx running in DOSEMU (because ccmail is just a program reading
files, not a network client) but rather I access Netware stuff off the Linux
root filesystem which has them ncpmounted (so they appear as local directories
under D: drive within DOSEMU).

Any solutions or ideas?

If I manage to get it working I (and other UNIX developers in our company) would
be releaved from the burden of having to reboot into DOS just to read the mail.
Or, if you know of any native Linux software that can access CCMAIL postoffices
that would be even better!

Thank you in advance.
