That doesnt alter the fact it isnt in the 2.1 kernel and it doesnt always
work happily in 2.0. Nor the fact that it is dead and buried feature that
should never have got in.

Anyway for 2.0.x I'd agree the patch to not request-route multicasts is
the best move and also nearest to fixing things.
