Broken clock()

Is it just me, or is clOck() broken under 2.1.42?

I noticed this while kernel hacking, so I did the obvious and compiled
a virgin kernel. Still no go, so I replaced the dynamic linker and libc,
still nothing.

It seems clock() is always returning 0. I also tried times() and got
the same result (everything zero). It worked a few kernels ago, and my
system hasn't changed since then.

Any ideas appreciated.
