I have been noticing that with all of the late-30's and 4X kernels
that a process left to run on an idle machine overnight runs
slower than the same process while the system is being used.
The process is the RC5 code, I get ~33k kps overnight and 47-70k kps
during the day (depending upon overall system use).
Consistently for the last 2 weeks that I've been watching.
