Final words on this topic:

1) I told H. Peter Anvin to stop running the public news gateway
of the lists because I wanted news gatewaying of them to cease
entirely and for good, not because I felt him or his setup
was in any way incompetant. I do not want another one to
start up.

2) Other solutions to the "problem" in general were discussed at
LinuxEXPO and everyone will be notified when we come up with
something which is more finalized.

For now, just use linux-kernel as it is and respect it, and send
little polite notes to those who do not.
