I just tried to compile a 2.1.31 kernel and got following error:
net/network.a(sock_n_syms.o)(__ksymtab+0x1f0): multiple definition of `__ksymtab_csum_partial_copy'
arch/i386/kernel/kernel.o(__ksymtab+0x58): first defined here
net/network.a(sock_n_syms.o)(.kstrtab+0x380): multiple definition of `__kstrtab_csum_partial_copy'
arch/i386/kernel/kernel.o(.kstrtab+0x89): first defined here
make: *** [vmlinux] Error 1
On 2.1.30 I had no troubles on compiling - haven't changed anything in my
configuration.
