You can't paste the numbers to a file (or write them down if your gpm's
broke :) and use System.map to find them?

This has happened to me lately. It seems to happen to me over a dial-up
link. When pasting from an xterm at my isp to my local box to vi or emacs
it drops chars. 2.0.29, if that makes a difference. I also don't have to
kill gpm, just paste less at a time.
