testing it with hdparm:

# hdparm -t /dev/sda

/dev/sda:
Timing buffered disk reads: 16 MB in 5.18 seconds = 3.09 MB/sec

# hdparm -T /dev/sda

/dev/sda:
Timing buffer-cache reads: 32 MB in 1.09 seconds =29.36 MB/sec

I've only ~3 Mb/s of transfer rate ? It's possible ? My previous
HDD have ~4.7 Mb/s on a Triton III controller! What I wrong ?

Thanks!

What ? Do you have problem with Windows95 ? You can try to
send problem > /dev/null, he listen every problem but take
a while for the reply! A satisfied Windows95 user
