Try reinstalling LILO, that will likely overite it. Otherwise, boot from a known clean boot/root, and re lilo & kernel yourself.

I finally trced my problem down to the stoned virus.

Apparently it infected me when I was runing win95, and got the boot sector
of my linux drives too.....

any suggestions for removing said enemy?
