recently, there has been a small discussion on kernel tutorials.
Among others, Michael Beck's book was mentioned to be infomrative,
but rather outdated, as still refering to kernel 1.x .
To let you know, it has recently been re-released in it's original
language, German, with the subtitle "algorithms and structures
of version 2.0". I don't know about a translation into English.
I have only just acquired it, but it seems to be an >excellent< book.
