When a TCP connection gets cut off (modem hangs up) my linux box doesnt
detects it. First i thought that it's only the shell that doesnt detects the
disconnection , but then i noticed 2 ftpd processes runing for a few days
already. netstat shows that the connection is still established.
P.S. all the kernels were completely unpached , compiled them as i got them.
