Maybe such attacks could be logged, esp. where they came from. I
thought in Linux "SYN flood protection" is already implemented because
they have attacked me too, but only the DEC's in our network where
unreachable (pingable but no telnet,ftp ...). Our web-server with
Linux 2.0.18 survived.

Michael
