I've got one of these suckers on my motherboard. It's very similar to the UMC
8672/8673, as far as I can tell. Of course, it doesn't work with those drivers
in the kernel.

It's PCI and seems pretty speedy under GameEnvironment95 and DOS. I'd like to
hack support into the kernel but can't seem to find any specs on it. Has anyone
had any luck with this particular holy grail?

I'm toying with the notion of running the DOS driver through DOSEmu and monitor
the ports that it tweaks and poke and prod (at the price of my data).
