Sympathies to Linus due to his move/recent fatherhood/recent thesis/etc.,
but perhaps during these 'busy' periods of his, someone capable (Alan??)
should be mandated to release official patches at the usual rapid rate, so
kernel hackers/followers don't get withdrawl symptoms :)
