Finally, I solved the my kernel 2.0.28 VFS panic problem.<phew>
It just a matter of mistaken to set "yes" on one of the devices
WatchDogTimer (WDT) which I didn't have in my system in my kernel
configuration. As the result my harddisk's irq conflict with the phantom
device.
So any way I would like say thank you to those who have giving me all
sort of advices. I respect you all! :-)
BTW, I did set "ide0=qd6580" on lilo.conf command line. Question is how do
I know this qd6580 chip will work and how do the kernel detect it?
