Redhat problem with ppp

I just installed redhat since the slackware worked even worse for me! The
kernel version
is 1.2.13 and when i try to make a ppp connection everything seems to work
except i
get some kind of LCP bad nacks problem in my logfile... what the heck is
that!? thanks
