I'm trying to compile the 2.1.23 kernel with David Miller's SMP patch,
and I get:
gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/linux/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O2
-fomit-frame-pointer -D__SMP__ -D__SMP_PROF__ -pipe -fno-strength-reduce
-m486 -malign-loops=2 -malign-jumps=2 -malign-functions=2 -DCPU=586
-D__SMP__ -c -o rtc.o rtc.c
rtc.c: In function `rtc_poll':
rtc.c:498: `POLLIN' undeclared (first use this function)
rtc.c:498: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
rtc.c:498: for each function it appears in.)
rtc.c:498: `POLLRDNORM' undeclared (first use this function)
make[3]: *** [rtc.o] Error 1
make[3]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux/drivers/char'

Am I missing something? 2.1.22 compiled with no major problems.

TIA,
