Modules bug in 2.0.28???

Hello,
I've compiled HPFS support as a module in kernel 2.0.28 + modules 2.1.13.
When I try to autoload (or load using insmod) the module, I'm getting
messages saying the module is already loaded, but there's no hpfs support.
