2.1.21/axp and modules

I've compiled modutils-970116, applied the patch to
2.1.21 and compiled it successfully.

Booting works ok after specifying "init=/sbin/init", but
insmod'ing a module gives an instant reboot.

Machine is an "Noname".

It was the same story with 2.1.20.

So, any1 had any success with the new modtools on axp?
