the latest modutils do not work here. I have a plain 2.1.21 kernel (I
did not get warnings or errors, so I didn't feel the need to apply
Alan Cox's patches - may be this the point ?).
At boottime, insmod complains about an invalid module header and
suggest a newer modutils installation <grin>. 970104 works fine.
