funny, i have a step1 R6 P150+, but VSPM hangs the machine.. (this was under
2.1.7, i believe, and i'm at 2.1.14 now, not having reenabled VSPM)

this is on the BioStar MB8500-TUC, triton II HX, AMI bios..
