ppp problem with 2.0.27?

A couple of weeks ago I upgraded from 2.0.23 to 2.0.27.

I was having an awful problem keeping PPP sessions alive...it would
hang and I couldn't figure out why...I thought it was "the other side"..
when I ran 2.0.23, I didn't have a problem...

I checked the mailing list, and didn't see a report last month...
