During the build the tools phase, I've apparantly broken
my libc.a very badly.

the Porting machine is a MicroVax3400,Ultrix-v4.2 .

I am wondering if grabbing the present src's for
ld.so & libc , then rebuilding these locally may
get back a functional libc.a ?

Also, if maybe better to compile for a.out & shared ?
