Doing a chmod on an SMB filesystem mount point causes a kernel OOPS and
the filesystem becomes impossible to unmount.

Thanks for the report. The patch from the just-released smbfs-0.10, to be
found via http://www.kki.org/linux-lan/ should fix it.
