i renamed the `offending' libs to waht ldconfig wants them to be.. i don't
see a prollem with this, since programs are linked against the soname..

eg: old `libncurses.so.1.9.9e' was renamed to `libncurses.so.3.0.0'

this'll shut ldconfig up for good wrt this problem.
