This is kindof confusing to me, but the first few times i try to run ppp
after rebooting my machine it will log

Dec 13 04:38:19 random modprobe: Can't locate module ppp0
Dec 13 04:39:11 random modprobe: Can't locate module ppp0
which I think is odd, seeing as ppp isn't compiled as a module, its
actually in kernel.
After several tries it works fine.
Any suggestions?
