I have a PPro Intel Venus M/B. The BIOS settings are set up correctly, as
normal, to boot from floppy first, then attempt the HD.
I'm booting from floppy right now, but I tried getting LILO installed
properly (installed the lilo package, I use Debian).
I have no idea if the MBR was properly installed.
If I try to boot without the floppy, the machine just sits there, the
green light on the floppy stays on, and it doesn't seem to be even trying
to boot from the HD...
Any clues? How to check if there might be a problem with the BIOS?
