I have decided to give the mem option at the lilo boot prompt instead of
placing it in the lilo.conf, since I was having trouble getting it
working,so I re-installed lilo with the 5 second boot delay.
I then enter linux mem=128M. My server craps out. Half a page of kernel
messages. I can only set the mem option to 96 meg. On bootup the Bios
see's 131072K. I'll tackle adding the mem=128M line to the lilo.conf
file later but for now does anyone know why it craps out with mem=128M.
I am running linux 2.0.24, P5 100Mhz. 128meg EDO ram.
