IMHO this is the way to go. At the very least this should be
done for the /proc/<pid>/* stuff. Perhaps it would be good if
the /proc/<pid> thingies were left to dry for a while and we
switch to a clean fs in 2.1, and put it under, say, /kernel,
because most of the files under /proc don't have anything to
do with processes anyway.
