SVGA Abuse does not work with any mouse in 2.0.20

I use Abuse on Linux in 2 machines: one with a PS2 mouse and one
with a serial mouse switchable to MS mode or MouseSystems mode.

With the PS2 mouse works with 2.0.0 does not work with 2.0.14

With the serial mice works with 1.2.13, does not work with 2.0.20
and 2.0.21.

Abuse is mission critical :-)
