In 2.0.21, in /usr/src/linux/drivers/scsi/Makefile, there is the following
at line 362 :

# For debugging, use the -g flag
53c7,8xx.o : 53c7,8xx.c
$(CC) $(CFLAGS) -g -c 53c7,8xx.c

Shouldn't the -g be taken out for the default setting?
