Skip For Linux

I would like to know if anyone is working on a version of skip for Linux.
I know there is a version for freebsd but I would like to try out a Linux
version.

the sources for the Solaris and freebsd versions.

I am not a US citizen and so I have to make do with the European versions
of the source.
