PPP and IPX

Hi there!

I'm trying to setup IPX over a PPP link.
I have a PPP server at the University using Linux 1.3.57 and my
client at home using 2.0.17
Both with pppd-2.0.0f and mars-nwe0.98pl1 as the RIP/SAP router.
When I dial in and start pppd, I can see the ipxcp packets and everything
is ok. They agree in the configuration of the IPX net. the ipx_route and
ipx_interface seem right in both of them, but they don't route the IPX
packets across the PPP link. In fact, when I do slist, they don't even
recognize each other as a NetWare server as they should. So I think the
IPX packets get corrupted through the PPP link.

Does anyone have anything like this working? What is the problem here?
BTW, I've seen something weird, when I change the asyncmap option
in the ppp options, the number of the IPX net change. Could this be the
problem. Do I have to set a different asyncmap?
Do I need a kernel newer than 1.3.57 to do this?

I don't know if this is offtopic in linux-kernel, but maybe it's a
problem in the kernel-side of IPX/PPP :-?.

CU!
PS: Sorry for my english...
And YES! I read the IPX and PPP HOWTO...
