Sorry if I alarmed anyone... Ok I take it then that cmd640 is
PCI. Sorry about that, I don't have PCI, so it must be
something else. (like the hardware is gasping for breath..)
Assuming the errors are not harmless, my gut reaction says "it
would be nice to set the clean bit to "not clean" when an
unrecovered error happened, or rather set a flag so that the
clean bit wouldn't get set when the system next shuts down.
