printk, ppp + syslog

hi,

I played around with ppp this weekend, and found that:

when you set "kdebug 7" in /etc/ppp/options,
then, after a ppp-connection has been established once,
(at least) an "ifconfig" will print your initial (or
part of) boot-messages to syslog (which in return will
throw it to whereever /et/syslog.conf...etc..)

I've seen this before with other software than ppp and would
say this comes from a missing LF "\n" in some of the printks.
I've already searched for it, but didn't find it....

nb: I'm talking about serial-line ppp, not isdn-ppp.
