When I tried booting with the patched kernel I got the following error
messages in the boot sequence on each machine...
.
.
.
ISO9660 Extensions: RRIP_1991A
found on /dev/scd0
Mounting unknown ISO9660 CD-ROM under /cdrom
SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such device
SIOCADDRT: Network is unreachable
SIOCADDRT: Network is unreachable
Mounting remote file systems...
Starting daemons: syslogd klogd portmap inetd lpd mountd nfsd
.
.
.
Then when I try to mount the other machine on each local machine with an
NFS mount command of the form
mount start:/ /start
I get a nastygram
mount clntupd_create: RPC: Port mapper failure - RPC: Unable to send
and no access to the remote system...
What might I be doing wrong? It all seemed to work well with 2.0.0 before
I installed Alan's patch. Is there a problem there or did I elide an
essential step? Am I including enough information in this cry for help?
Thanks.
