Below, listed in order of importance, is a partial list of features I
would like to see in the Linux kernel.

A) A feature like AIX's LVM. The ability to change filesystem
sizes on the fly.
B) To go along with A, journaling.
C) A pageable kernel.

These item may not be kernel related, but I would also like to see
improved system performance reporting, such as sar.

Just my 1/20 of 1 cent.
