Eh, hem... I sure would oppose having differences for the "heck of it".
If POSIX isn't clear, then I'd recommend that the semantics of all "main
line" implementations be sized up.. I'd rather see SV than BSD behavior
since SV is more likely to be true across the realm including DG/UX, AIX,
Solaris, HP/UX, Digital UNIX and other OSF/1. Also, it is more likely
that POSIX will adopt something like that (SV).
