Strange problem with Zen Penguin on Endorphins (or not)

Ever since upgrading to 2.0.0, I get these messages in /var/log/messages:

Jun 10 13:10:26 skyline kernel: Insert herring into /dev/fd0

Also, I don't understand the part of the documentation that says you
should place your system on a block of ice to improve performance.

Maybe this penguin business has gone too far....
