That is what the -iname option is for on the find command. Also, there
is nothing standard about non-case-sensitive and as you further describe
it in a followup, it isn't a filesystem issue. It is an issue for your
shell and the utilies like 'ls'.

I don't feel that I waste time looking for files because of case sensitivity.
