I like a suggestion made earlier:

Rename arch-dependent DEC Alpha stuff to AXP. i.e., instead of:

.../linux/arch/alpha

we could have:

.../linux/arch/axp

People know the DECChips as AXPs as well as Alphas. It would make
sense, and that would let us keep the Alpha/Beta nomenclature for
software completeness/functionality levels.
