My overloaded .config compiled clean and booted! Wonderful! I'm even using
the modular serial driver (once I told modprobe what char-major-4 was).

The _ONLY_ thing is... :-) ... it "stops" from time to time (while in netscape 3).
I'm not sure exactly what's going on. There's no disk/swap activity (and I've no
way to check the ethernet cable).

But at least it runs! First time I've _used_ a kernel since 1.3.85! :-))
