Another person here at Rutgers (mvachhar@noc.rutgers.edu) and myself
are planning to begin work on a generic console system for Linux. If
you read linux-ggi, you have probably seen the two messages that I
sent there with some of our ideas. I would like to actually take those
ideas and actually produce something usable.

I created the list linux-console@vger.rutgers.edu to act as the
development list for this project. Join using majordomo in the normal
way if you are interested.
