"bad checksum" messages

Hi, the following message spontaneously appears on the root console while
logged in but inactive:

UDP: bad checksum. From 00000000:68 to FFFFFFFF:67 ulen 308
[repeated 5 or 6 times]

after which the prompt reappears and the system appears to function normally.
What is this, and is it cause for concern?

System: 486 w/8megs + 10000 swap
kernel 1.3.69 w/ networking and dosemu module but otherwise
pretty much stripped down.
