Interestingly enough, I had this same problem and followed the
advice in the readme's (or the FAQ. Can;t remember which), which
also said to remove the dumb entry - since upgrading however, I
have found my termcap to be woefully wrong. So badly wrong, in
fact, that if TERM is set to linux or console the lxdialog utility
will die quite badly. If I set it to type XTERM however it works
fine. I don't believe this is a problem with my ncurses setup,
which I've checked and recompiled just to be sure - anyone out
there with a termcap I can steal please? (I'm edging towards the
termcap especially as with the NCurses test programs some of
the control codes don't seem to be recongnised with TERM=linux
and are just ignored. Hmmm).
